I am a professor of history, Director of a Certificate in Public History, and co-director of the American Studies Program at Siena College near Albany, NY. I study gender and business in the 20th century U.S., have written a book on women filmmakers and I am now working a book about gender and American corporate capitalism 1890-1960. Digital work, thus far, is about working with students in our new Digital Scholarship Center, where we hope to get an army of interns working on digitizing the records of local historical societies. We are already working with the Saratoga National Historical Park on 18th & 19th century letters.
