A native of the UK, I have lived in the U.S. for about 30 years, of which 4 years were in D.C. I have a BA in Art History, an MA in History, and a PhD in History. My dissertation explores the intersection of the history of parenting, the history of children's consumerism, and the history of emotions, in the post-WWII era in the U.S.
