I am a semi-retired professor at the University of New Hampshire. I still teach courses in art history, the history of photography, and museum studies at UNH and Harvard University and live in the Boston area. My current research is on the photographs that the German-American photographer Lotte Jacobi made in the Soviet Union, particularly in Uzbekistan and Tajikistan, in 1932-33.
